Friday Favorites ::: Farmhouse Dreaming

   I love farmhouses. The end.

I want a farm with a big farmhouse. And sheep.

So, as I daydream….thought I would gather together some of my favorites for today……

I’ve always needed a thatched roof. They are my favorite. But, here in the South….we’d be infested before sundown.

Who doesn’t need a yellow barn? I think everyone should have a yellow barn.

    I’m loving that last house but it would have to come with a very good loyal house keeper. No way I want to clean that monster, gorgeous or not. Love that truck, old trucks bring back many memories. Lots of history in all those awesome homes, my favorite was house with thatched roof. So country. Great tour of farmhouses. Maybe someday for you. Probably closest we came to farm house was our place in KY, Still miss that house. Happy weekend and many happy summer days

  4. Instead of the big home, why not change the barn into a house. Leave the center of the barn open so you have a 2 to 3 story vaulted ceiling and put large windows on one end. you can also put a large swing for 2 in the middle (it could be a loveseat) then you can spend the evening watching the sunset from inside the house. You also could put a large open or covered deck on the second floor on both sides of the roof. Now that would be a house to live in. God Bless and keep dreaming.

  5. Love, love, love the last farmhouse! Do you have any more info on it (or pictures? more pictures would be awesome!)? Thank you for the great finds!
