I dearly love Starbucks bottled Frappuccinos!
I found a way to justify my consumption!
These glass bottles have clear labels that come off super easy, and then if you wash them in the dishwasher any residue that is left will come off during the wash. They look very much like vintage milk bottles….love this look.
We use them as drinking bottles…they look great with paper straws in them, vases…have fun tying burlap or twine around the neck to dress them up a bit…… we also use them for our collection of sand from the different beaches that we have visited.
You can leave the lids as they are…or spray paint them any color you wish. For my son’s sand collection we spray the lids silver…for the collection above we just left the lids as they are because we store them on a high shelf. We then tie a tag with the beach’s name on it around the neck.
It’s neat to collect sand from different beaches and see the vast differences in each one. Some are dark, some are light, some are fine, some are course….if you have never been to the website that shows the magnification of sand…..by all means, please visit it here. It is amazing and so beautiful! We are walking on these lovely treasures!
So, find some Frappuccino on sale…..have a Frappuccino Party {or drink them all yourself, like me}……and have some fun with the neat empty bottles!
I’ll post Part 2 of our Bible Garden tomorrow.
Blessings~

What a GREAt idea !! Thanks for sharing !
Thanks, Jennie.
What a great idea and they look so lovely!
Thank you!
OK….. so I can never justify buying myself those tasty little things on a regular basis anyhow. I just added them to the Target list. I want the bottles!
Pinned too.
~Bliss~
Totally worth it!
Great idea! I love bottles like that. I keep some of the dried herbs for my soap making in bottles similar to that. They look so pretty!
What a great idea!
What a good idea! Check out what I did with my old pickle jars… http://artsyvava.blogspot.com/2012/05/upcycled-pickle-olive-jars.html. That is something else you could do with your bottles. They’d make great vases.
They do! We use them for vases all the time!
I love the idea of sand from beaches in the bottles with the tags. Great ideas!

It’s so much fun to compare them….and a neat project each time we go somewhere new. We’ve gotten in the habit of always carrying baggies when we travel….in case we need to collect sand.
Cool idea and I totally get it, but…you aren’t actually supposed to remove sand from beaches. Most beach communities spend mucho dollars (or need to) replenishing the sand because of natural erosion. I know a baggy isn’t much, it’s probably about the same as what would stick to you/clothes/shoes/towels/etc in a week’s time spent on a beach vacation. How about saving what you vacumm out of the car instead?
Great idea, Susan…thanks for sharing!
I love your glass bottles. I’m not a frappuccino drinker, but I think it will be worth it to get a few of these bottles.
Maybe you could find someone else that is a frappuccino drinker…and ask them to pass the empty bottles along to you.
Great idea. They look wonderful with the tags. I may have to get me some Frappuccinos…
Absolutely!
Wow, I love this idea. I am going to start my own sand collection. Thank you!
How cute! I love that idea! We are a military family, so I may have to try this with mementos from our travels. Thanks for sharing.
Oh, you will have great opportunities to collect some really neat things!
brilliant!
craving one this very moment!
michele
Me, too!
I love them!! I save bottles & jars from almost everything to reuse later. I love the shape of these bottles – almost makes me want to drink Crappuccino… Super cute!!
I think Starbucks knew what they were doing by creating these bottles….I’m sure so many people buy them just for the bottles! haha!
These are so darling! What a great way to repurpose and they do totally have a vintage look! Love it so much
Thanks, Karen!
What an awesome idea! I love the shape of the frappuccino bottle… a great way to display it.
Thanks, Brittany…I love it that it looks like a vintage milk bottle when all the labels are removed.
I have a ton of different types of bottles I’m saving – this is a very unique idea!

That will be fun…there are so many neat-shaped bottles out there that our everyday items come in!
Love It!!!
Thanks, Tobi!
What a clever idea, to take something that no one would think of keeping and use it in such a great way. Love the key tags too.
Thanks, Michele…I think the tags add a special touch.
Daune, Thanks for sharing this great idea at the Open House party. Now I have a reason to buy more of these.
A wonderful and creative idea…love the shape of these bottles, real vintage/shabby…your collection of sand momentos is also a great idea! x
Thanks, Yvette!
This is a fantastic project! I actually just finished a Frappacino and now have ideas on using the bottle. Would you consider linking it up at my Pinworthy Projects Party? I hope to see you there!
I have a bunch of Frappuccino bottles leftover from a party and I thought they would just sit in a box until the next party! I never thought of using them like this! Thanks for the great idea
Oh how fun!
oh that is clever, I love it! (Saw you at serenity now)
And here my Mr. Man thought it was only me who had this obsession!
I too, reuse the cute bottles so as to make it more palatable for my honey
Thanks for sharing. Hugs,
Bj
It’s always good to validate our obsessions. Right?
What a great idea. I love the drink too, but stay far away…..
Yes, the bottles are great and you have found a great idea for using them, love it!
Thanks for sharing.
Michele
What a great idea! I collect sand/rocks from our travels as well, but haven’t actually made a display type thing for them yet. This would be perfect since I already drink those yummy coffees!
They really have a cute shape and I love the sand collection! Keep drinking!
Very cute idea, love all the collections! Thanks for sharing on Simple & Sweet Fridays.
Jody
Once again! Very creative. These bottles are the perfect shape and size – I love your labeling – infinite possibilities! I appreciate you sharing with Home and Garden Thursday,
Kathy

How fun, Jody! Thanks for letting me know!
This is a fantastic idea! Meaningful decor is the best. I especially love that you have one from Cape May. I’ve only been there once, but can’t wait to go again someday!
Jenny~ We LOVE Cape May….it’s one of our family’s favorite vacation spots.
Hope you get to go again!
Thanks for giving me yet another idea to use my collection of bottles for! I’m never without a case of these highly addictive Frappuccinos from Costco (stock up on $3.00 off coupon) in my fridge. Thanks for sharing! From one coffee addict to another ~ Judy
Great coupon! Wish we had a Costco here!

What a great idea and great reminder of family vacations ! I have to say, I am partial to the Wrightsville Beach Frap-glass.
That is a great beach!

I LOVE this idea! I always like to collect sand at different beaches too. The labels are my favorite part. Thanks so much for posting…and REALLY cool to see Wrightsville Beach on there!
Thanks….it’s been fun to see people’s comments. Many know some of the beaches.
I use those bottles to store dried herbs from my garden and to keep art supplies in and anything else I need to keep dry that will fit. I have several friend who save them for me :0) Now I’ll have a new use for them ♥
How fun, Carol…what a great idea!
