Our kiddos’ violin teacher is incredible. {I’ll write more about her in another post. She was the individual that brought the Suzuki Violin Technique to America—and we are honored that she lives here in our town and is our instructor!}
Her home and yard are so enchanting—fun ideas around every corner. We have been trying to come up with some fun ideas of how to ‘hide’ our AC units outside—they are an eye sore. Right in the middle of a flower bed! While walking through Joanne’s garden—we came upon this cute little house. Looked like a miniature little cottage. THIS is how they hide their AC unit! I love it! It is lightweight—easily picks up for service; but you can’t tell the unit is within it. How easy this will be to make!
A simple box made from 1×3′s, lattice, and cute wood finials and decorative cutouts from the home store. This would be an easy 1/2 day job—including the painting! The latticework lets in air circulation—and makes it super lightweight so it can be lifted easily for service, etc. Doesn’t it look great in the middle of her herb/salad garden? I’m on it! Can’t wait to see how it turns out!
Happy Thursday~

Wow how cute. We have two AC units, one for our upstairs and one for downstairs. I would have to have a whole village! I love this.
Coming over from Feathered Nest Friday! This is so sweet! i host a garden party on Thursday’s & think it would be great for you to share your post with the other gardeners too! xoox, tracie
Wow…I would love to make this!! TFS.
Wow!! What an awesome idea! It is absolutely adorable! I realllllly want to do something to our AC unit as well, however, it is humongous! My cottage would look real life for a kid to play in…which I think would be cute…off to encourage my husband to start building!!
Maybe you could have a Victorian Painted Lady…complete with gingerbread trim an all!
ha! ha!
I just LOVE this idea! It will be on the LIST Tuesday. Feel free to stop by and grab a button!
smiles!
