Grilled Corn on the Cob

For our cookout with my bible study small group last weekend I wanted to add something simple and fun to the menu.  This was a big hit and so easy!

Here’s what you need:

1-2 unshucked ears of corn per person

Butter

Crate & Barrels Corn on the Cob seasoning {they have two kinds–both are super!} or your own:  salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, or Lawry’s season salt would work

HERE’S HOW YA DO IT:

Peel corn only down to the bottom of the cob–do not completely remove

Remove all corn silk and discard

Tie the shucks with kitchen twine {this makes a great handle for holding the corn while eating}

Soak the corn in water for at least 10 minutes

Grill on medium/high {350-400} for approximately 15 minutes, turning frequently

Remove corn from the grill and butter it on all sides

Sprinkle on seasoning and serve!

Mmmmmmmmm–tastes like summer!

Happy Friday~

    Ooh, I’ve never seen those seasonings before! Great idea to add some flavor! I look forward to having corn every year!

    I looove grilled corn. I only recently discovered it. I have always put mine in aluminum foil, I’ll have to try leaving the stalks on at the end and grilling directly on the grill :)
